Always discreet

I have kindly been gifted these Always discreet pads to test and review in return for my honest, unbiased opinion.

Did you know that 1 in 3 women experience bladder weakness?

Can you believe that 60 percent of those women are far to embarrassed to tell anyone, I know right, shocking! worse still a staggering 67% of women overall suffer with bladder weakness, madness! Women are embarrassed because they feel it only affects older women, I can tell you now, I am 38 and I have been suffering since my early 20’s, My daughter has been suffering with urgency leakage issues since she was 14 years old.

I am wanting to help break that Taboo and let my readers know that you are NOT alone. Women leak for all kinds of reasons, mine being child birth and health related conditions - I have HEDS - Hypermobility Elhers Danlos Syndrome, my nervous system tends to do what it likes and not always at the right times, this is simply due to having a connective tissue disorder.

So what did I do about it you ask? Well firstly I visited my doctor to ensure I had a few minor checks to rule out anything sinister and once I knew it was just 'one of them things' I began looking into which incontinence pads were going to suit me best.

I tried many however I found myself back to buying the Always brand, so I was over the moon when I was selected to test these samples and help spread the word, They are actually a lot thinner than I expected, when comparing to other brands and therefor are a very discreet fit.

They absorb well and so far I have encountered zero issues with my underwear becoming wet, you get no bad odour and they really are soft and gentle on my skin.

Whether you have issues with leaking during the day or night, a little or a lot, tell someone, it really will make you feel better in yourself, do not feel embarrassed or ashamed, It really is much more normal and common than you realise!
